Massage
Deep tissue massage is a targeted, therapeutic treatment designed to release chronic tension, support recovery and restore ease of movement throughout the body. Each session is approached with care and intention, offering both relief and long-term support for how you move and feel.
This treatment focuses on working into the deeper layers of muscle and fascia using slow, sustained pressure. Sessions may be targeted to specific areas of tension, such as the neck, shoulders, lower back or legs, or approached as a full-body treatment to improve overall flow and balance.
A range of techniques may be used, including the thumbs, knuckles, forearms or elbows, always applied with sensitivity and control. The goal is not to cause pain, but to apply enough therapeutic pressure to encourage release, break down adhesions and restore mobility.
At Sona, massage is seen as an important complement to movement. Wherever possible, natural oils are used, respecting the skin as the body’s largest organ and supporting a more nourishing, restorative experience.
